About Le Pearl Dental

Dr. Le’s story doesn’t begin in a dental school. It begins on the open sea. He was just a child when his family fled war-torn Vietnam on a crowded boat. Three years followed in a refugee camp. When they finally arrived in the U.S., it wasn’t in a place of privilege. It was in a modest community dental clinic in Baton Rouge that Dr. Le met dentists who did something extraordinary: they offered kindness, restored his teeth, and taught him preventive care that shaped his lifelong oral health habits.

That experience planted a seed.

Years later, while attending Fairfax High School in Virginia, he met a visiting dentist whose passion and purpose helped that seed bloom. Dr. Le realized that dentistry could be more than a career; it could be a way to give others the same hope and healing he once received.

When he reunited with his mother after a 20-year separation, she became his first dental patient. Nervous and fearful of the dentist’s chair, she reminded him what truly matters in this work: empathy, trust, and the courage to care for others with gentleness and respect.

Today, as the founder of Le Pearl Dental, Dr. Le practices with deep compassion rooted in lived experience. His mission is to transform how people feel about dentistry by leading with empathy, treating every patient with dignity, and showing that even small acts of care can have a lasting impact.
